Visiting the school?  Please sign in and out at the office.

Left something in your classroom? If you need something from your classroom after school gets out, please go to the classroom to see if your teacher is still there.  If the room is empty and the door is locked, you will have to wait until the following school day to retrieve your items.

Early pick up? Notify the teacher in advance and sign the child out in the office. The office will call the child. Do not go directly to the class.

No dogs on campus.

Please check the lost and found in the MUR for lost clothing or accessories.

Just a reminder to all parents.  Please remain behind the school gates, and not  in the corridors or outside classrooms, until the dismissal bell rings.


If you wish to volunteer in your student's classroom or chaperone a field trip in any MDUSD school, you MUST be cleared to do so by:

  • Showing proof of a recent negative TB test
  • Being fingerprinted by the district (at the district offices in Concord)

Upcoming Events


Choir practice will start September 21st, 12:10-1:10 pm for children signed up for the 4th & 5th grade chorus. This is a week earlier than originally planned. Mrs. Young has decided to start earlier to accommodate the larger size of the chorus. For further updates and information please email mdeinformation@gmail.com to receive an invite to Konstella. Mrs. Young does not use email. Parent volunteers will conduct all her electronic and social media messages through Konstella.


This is a great way to get involved in your child's/children's school.  Come to find out what's going on at MDE.   Any concerns, questions or suggestions can be asked at the PFC meeting. Free childcare and refreshments are offered.  Please join us onTuesday September 20th, at 7pm, in the MDE MUR.


6:15 pm - 9:15 pm. $15.00 per student includes pizza dinner, fruit, veggie, popcorn, and a drink for all kids. $3.00 per student  for a “goodie” bag (assorted candies-NUT FREE). MDE Students Only Event, grades K-5. PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!! (All volunteers and their kids attend movie night for free!)
