Reminders...

Visiting the school?  Please sign in and out at the office. You must wear a visitors pass!

Left something in your classroom? If you need something from your classroom after school gets out, please go to the classroom to see if your teacher is still there.  If the room is empty and the door is locked, you will have to wait until the following school day to retrieve your items.

Early pick up? Notify the teacher in advance and sign the child out in the office. The office will call the child. Do not go directly to the class.

For safety reasons, dogs are NOT ALLOWED on campus!

Please check the lost and found in the MUR for lost clothing or accessories.

Just a reminder to all parents.  Please remain behind the school gates, and not  in the corridors or outside classrooms, until the dismissal bell rings.

MDE Is A  PBIS School!

At MDE we have implemented PBIS (Positive Behavorial Interventions and Supports). This nationwide program supports our school in providing school-wide norms and procedures for all students. We focus on supporting our school rules with bright/effective school signage and recognition of positive behaviors from students with a school-wide incentive program! This new system is truly making MDE the place to be for our students.

5th Grade Science Camp!

From our PFC: Help our 5th graders go to camp! Outdoor Education is a four-day, offsite field trip that is planned each year for 5th graders. The camp teaches a hands-on science curriculum and social skills, and provides a taste of the responsibility and independence students will need when they advance to middle school. Outdoor education is a fun, enriching experience that kids look forward to, and that they will never forget!
